April

These are our English centres. We were doing RAZ-Kids, banana grams (a word game), puzzles and journal writing. Mme was doing a words their way centre so that we could get our new words.

Here we had partner reading. We took our English book and we read it to a partner that Mme picks for us. Sometimes we do this in French as well.

Here we were building things with geometrics shapes. We hid the shapes and had to describe them to our partner in French. Then our partner had to make the same design.

This is when an author came to read one of her books to us. The big message from this book was that everyone is different.

Here we are exploring water to see how it can act like a magnifying glass.

Using the iPads we did research about inventions that use light.

Here we were making our kaleidoscopes. We looked in them and it looked really cool. We used cardboard rolls, reflective paper, plastic bags, sequins, paper and tape.

Here we are researching places in Nunavut to find out their original name and what it means.

This is the grade 3 choir who won an award for outstanding folk song.

Here are our dragons that we worked on in art class with Mme Catellier. They were awesome!

These are the pictures from the play Dig It! We practiced the play a lot and we had fun performing it and watching our friends!
