Here we are painting the background for our poppy artwork. We added poppies made of tissue paper. We used mod podge afterwards to make it look shiny.

These are the things that we used for our reading strategies in French. We predicted, clarified, questioned and summarized. We use them when we read books. We made a booklet to show our learning. Mme Galka helped us all learn by reading us stories. When she left, we made cards for Mme Galka to thank her.
We are doing more math problems. We use special paper that sticks to the wall and is erasable. We made monsters with different numbers of legs. We had to find all the possibilities and then we got a new challenge. In the second problem we were working perimeter.
Here we are watching Bill Nye the Science Guy and the Magic School Bus. The topic was bridges and structures.
In this picture we had ten fake dollars to spend to make a structure that would stay up when you sprayed it with water. We pretended it was for our family in the forest in the rain.

We sing happy birthday when it's someone's birthday. On this day we also played our recorders.
Sometimes we do exercices as a brain break if we don't have gym.
We used scribblers to go around the school and write in French about all the nice artwork on the walls and bulletin boards.
We were doing word sorts with our words their way partners. We also did a writing sort and we are working on making a word search with our words. We wrote sentences for 10 minutes and came up with 238 sentences in total! We will try to beat that number with our next word sort.
