We planted seeds because we are studying plants in Science. Some of our plants are growing but not all of them. We planted peas and beans.
We picked a mood or feeling and wrote about it. Then we had to read it to a partner and see if they could guess the mood! This was part of our Charlotte's Web study.

We were studying Ancient Egypt and we wrote our names using hieroglyphics.
We wrote a descriptive paragraph about our friend in class in French.
We designed our own books about La Petite Charte de la Terre. We watched 8 five minute videos about how to take care of the earth. Each video had an activity to go with it and soon we will bring our books home to show you!
We made cards for a friend in the class to learn about peace.
We were looking at problems in the environment. We read about pollution as well as keeping our parks and water clean.
We made an earth day picture.
One of our centers was to read a French book with Mme on the smartboard. Another one was making words using blocks with different sounds and blends.
We also played rush hour using a game card and there were three different levels.
We worked on improving our basic facts by playing games and doing puzzles on Reflex Math!
For problem solving in math, we were figuring out what animals we saw by how many heads and how many feet there were.
Mr. Jayme told us a story about Skullplayer and how he had to save the girls and his brothers. His stories and legends were very interesting. Some of the stories were scary and funny too. He taught us about respect, responsibility, honesty, courage, compassion, kindness and taking care of the earth.
We are reading stories by Melanie Watt in French. We love Chester!
