June

Mme Renee helped us create beautiful journals using the trees on Treaty Day.

We did a talking circle with Pam and some activities with the high school students.

M. Charrette taught us fire safety.

Mme Heather read to us in the tipi.

Here is our Norval Morrisseau artwork.

Our taiko drumming lesson was amazing!

Our trip to Fort Whyte was great! We spent the morning with Thomas who showed us around and taught us about how the people of the prairies used to live.

We ate lunch indoors and explored the center.

After lunch we spent the afternoon critter dipping.

Here is our last math class with Mme Page, she is retiring! We explored fraction problems and then played a math trivia game.

There were so many activities to do during our morning at Bruce Park.

We walked to the St. James Public Library and everyone took out a book. Mme will return them!

Freezie treat after a long day of walking!

We played some math games.

Hot sunny day for our last book buddy session, we played outside and ate popsicles.

We walked to the fire station in the rain.

We explored the fire station.

Spraying the hose is always a highlight of this trip!

We are so proud of our conflict managers for giving their time all year long to help our younger students during recess.

Second last day was movie day including some chocolate milk or lemonade and snacks! We compared Charlotte's Web the book and the movie.

Here we are playing some Minute to Win It games on the last day. We played lots of games like Jeopardy, Kahoot, Blooket, classroom games and games from home!

Thanks for a wonderful year and have a fantastic summer!!
