Here we are painting our sunsets. 

Then we added October themed silhouettes. 

Partner reading is a good way to practice fluency.

This was a great book about how to make an apology.

We observed the habitat around the school. 

We tested how cold ice water is wearing a plain plastic glove and one covered in vegetable shortening, like what a polar bear might feel in cold water. 

We cut up magazines to fill in a silhouette of our faces with things that represent us. 

We learned about walking safely in the city for Walktober. 

Desirae taught us some jigging in the gym. 

We learned about the atmosphere in the first session of Clear the Air. 

We played games and we learned about how to test the air quality. 

Desirae came back and we spent some time learning more jigging with her and Mme Noel's class in the library. 

We did an experiment with plain water and salt water. 

We voted for the municipal election. 

We are doing research about continents using books. 

During our last Clear the Air session we learned that the air is very clean in our classroom and outside the school. 

We had more fun learning from Desirae!

We made estimations and then measured our pumpkins. 

We did some Halloween building. 

We explored Mme's new microscope.
