October

Here is our October blog post!

This is our first visit with M. Ian. We learned how to beatbox!

We were making and solving patterns with different materials.

In these pictures we were doing scientific activities. They were really fun. We learned about stability and balance.

This is our cranberry bread. We read a book called Cranberry Thanksgiving and in the book the grandma had a secret cranberry bread recipe. At the end of the book there was the recipe. We made the cranberry bread!

We were reading to buddies in our class. Mme used the popsicle sticks to decide our partners. We have to sit shoulder to shoulder, knees to knees. It was fun!

Here we were skip counting and using actions to help us remember!

We wrote books in French about what we are thankful for.

We were making emoji faces for the zones of regulation. There are 4 zones: green, blue, red and yellow.

We were making a book about what a good friend is.

These are our instruments that we made with M. Ian after they were all completed.

We are making some monsters out of paper and string. Then we wrote about them in French.

We were building cubes to see which one could support the most weight. We learned that the one with the x's is strongest.

We were doing a math problem where we had to find out how many Halloween things were in the house to make 18 feet!

Here is M. Ian and a student performing with a straw instrument.

Here we are working on our paragraphs about our marvellous families.

We are painting the background for our poppy paintings.

In these pictures we are making puzzles. We just moved our desks and we were practicing getting to know each other and working together!

We had a fun time at our Halloween party and parade!

We have some math homework this week - counting and sorting our Halloween candy.

New November home reading sheets will come home on November 1st!
