September

Here we are drawing a smart cookie because Madame thinks we are smart cookies!

We were sharing what we did on the week-end and during summer in French.

Here is some partner reading.

We played a math game called doubles plus one.

Here we are counting beads in French. We had to estimate how many beads there were.

We are signing autographs in an activity to get to know each other.

We are working on our name art project and we used patterns.

Here we are seeing what a magnet can stick to. We are studying gravity too.

We were playing games on Reflex math and reading on Epic.

Here are some free time Friday photos. Sometimes we have to stop playing to tidy our desks!

We are drawing nature that we see around us.

We made a bingo sheet with classroom objects and colored it. We played bingo.

We made Who Am I? sentences in French about ourselves.

When we're finished our work we like to write books and comics.

We are sorting our Words Their Way words using the vowel sounds.

We did centers one afternoon. One of our centers was making posters about reading.

Another center was reading with Mme.

Another center was reading with a partner.

Another center was iPads.

Another center was journal writing.

We are working with hundreds, tens and ones in our math class.

This game is called Pictionary. You have to guess what your partner is drawing.

We made trees with paint in art. We talked about perspective and point of view.

We had book buddies and we played with the grade 1 and kindergarten students.

We were coloring our orange shirts so we could display them in the window. This is to honour the residential school survivors.

We ran outside for the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope!

We learned a game with a clock and some dice. You have to eliminate the numbers on the clock by adding or subtracting the numbers on the clock!

We helped our grade 1 buddies tie orange ribbons on the fence.

Mme Heather started reading us this book and we will finish it next library class.
