December

NorthStar brought us furs to touch when we learned about the 7 teachings.

Here are our owls in the style of Norval Morrisseau.

This is crazy hair and hat day!

We did a Santa's challenge and some of us built sleds or beds for Santa. Some of us built a mode of transportation for the elves or a tool to help Santa load the presents.

We decorated holiday sweaters!

We wrote directions on how to design the sweater.

We were trying to make different squares and rectangles for Santa's sleigh. It was a math problem.

Our next problem was figuring out how many small, medium and large presents there were if there was 18 gifts!

This is an addition and subtraction game!

We were cutting out the continents and gluing them on the blue paper. We named the oceans.

We were practicing how to say the continents and oceans.

We studied a continent and made a poster to present to the class.

We use iPads to do Reflex math, reading apps and Kahoot!

We made an agamograph for our art project with a penguin and a snowman.

We cut out clues in French and we had to sort them.

We were decorating gingerbread cookies!

Mme made us write about our cookies in French!

Sadly we did not get to go bowling because it was too cold but we did have fun playing games!

Happy Holidays and don't forget to read, read, read!
