We were doing science experiments by rubbing our feet on the carpet to make static electricity. We also rubbed balloons against our hair!

Mme was outside for recess duty. We like to play Royal Dogs and fort building!

Mme Swampy read The Rough-Faced Girl and we learned that everyone is unique. Mme Swampy taught us about her beliefs and we shared ours.

This is when we picked a French book that we liked. There were some Elise Gravel books and Mme read us the ones that we have in the library.
Mr. McKiel taught us about polar bears and he also taught us how to use Book Creator so we could make our own books on the iPads.
In math we are working on division.
We are doing math centres with games. One is a number game and another is with Mme and the blocks.
Someone came to our school to play the fiddle for Festival du voyageur. She played songs and we danced.
We were reading our books in the library in the coin de lecture. Some students get to use the maker space every time we visit the library. Only six people are allowed at a time.
For festival du voyageur, we had hot chocolate and bannock, we did finger knitting, we did beading, we danced, we played bingo and we drew and played on the iPads because it was too cold to go outside for sledding!

The grade 4 students did a relay race and dressed up as a voyageur at Oak Hammock Marsh.
We played tug of war on the log. Whoever falls off the log, loses.
We also went snowshoeing and we went a long distance. It took an hour and it was painful for some but also very fun! Some people fell behind with Mme, but eventually they caught up.
We saw a lot of cool things in the museum. We talked about beavers and the fur trade in French.
After school there were some entertaining stations to celebrate Festival du voyageur. The stations were baking bannock dough, making a sash and dancing and making music. Some people ordered pizza and drinks as well.
