September

Welcome to our blog!

We were making our cards for library.

We were doing partner reading.

We are seeing what magnets would stick to. We are learning about push and pull in science and different forces.

We are playing a math game called doubles plus one.

We made bingo cards so we could play bingo in French.

We were making patterns. We learned about increasing, decreasing and repetitive patterns.

We were estimating how many beads in the cup and then counting them.

We tried to guess how many candies in the container. We counted them in groups of 10!

We played a math game with hundreds, tens and ones.

We were reading outside.

We were doing Reflex Math on the iPads.

We made a guessing game in French.

We read Ours écoute and made a poster to go with it.

We learned how to make video games. Our host from CBC Kids showed us how to use the website Scratch to code games. Scratch - Imagine, Program, Share (mit.edu)

We were painting dots for art after we listened to the story The Dot.

We designed orange t-shirts and read lots of stories about orange shirt day.

We have free time on Friday afternoon if we are done all our work!

Here we are running for Terry Fox!

Here we are for smudging after the assembly.
