March

We made houses for our pigs and wolves.

We were naming different structures, drawing them and telling what they are made of.

We enjoyed using all of the books, posters and materials from the science crate.

We made bridges out of popsicle sticks, paint and paper.

We built traps for catching a leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day.

We have been doing lots of estimating in math. Once we got to eat the caramels.

We solved math problems about pizza toppings and ice cream flavours.

We solved more problems on the Smartboard.

We played a fun math game, the last block, during centers.

We read French stories on the Smartboard. When you press the stars, the characters do funny things.

We played a French game. We rolled the dice and whatever we landed on, we had to say a sentence about that topic or question.

We were working on animal brochures for our French books.

We played a question game, it's kind of like Guess Who?

We were writing riddles about fairy tale characters. Then we wrote our own fractured fairy tale.

We made a book about how to be a good friend on Book Creator and presented them to the class.

We were reading our Marvelous Me stories to each other. Mme won't let us take them home yet because she wants us to share them at school for a little while longer. We are excited to show you all our hard work when she finally lets us take them home!

We were learning how to use shading in art.

With shading, we drew the other half of our face!

We brought our stuffies on the last day before spring break. We wrote about them in French.

We finally finished reading Wonder so we watched the movie version on the last afternoon!
