Wendy Molnar shared stories from her adventures in Nunavut. 

She taught us some traditional Inuit games. 

Our owls are complete, in the style of Norval Morrisseau. 

Mme Peters has been coming to teach us the Kids in the Know program.

We learned about the Sacred Medicines and plants during our sharing circles with Pam. 

Our lovely Indigenous Educators visited us many times this month!

Our last visit was very special. We learned about the strawberry teachings and we got to enjoy some fresh strawberries. 

Pam prepared a special strawberry craft for us to make. We practiced our sewing skills and we got to decorate them too!

We are examining some seeds and learning about plants. 

Here we are listening to a special presentation from the Seed Survivor trailer. 

We planted our own sunflower seeds and explored fossils. 

There were many activities and games inside and outside the trailer. 

Mme Page visited a few times to help us with our math problems. 

On pyjama day we started a French writing project about our stuffed animals. 

We also read to our stuffed animals and watched the movie Wonder with them. After the movie, there was a Kahoot! One of the questions asked if we liked the book or the movie better. 

Here we are working hard on a new art project for the bulletin board. Ask me which artist we studied and the steps of this project.
